Mumu Fresh: A GRAMMY-nominated, award-winning artist, Mumu Fresh (Maimouna Youssef) is a true musical force. With a background spanning jazz, gospel, hip hop, and more, she’s performed with legends like The Roots, Sting, and Common. Mumu is not only a gifted singer and emcee but also an activist and mentor, known for her passionate work advocating for racial and gender equality, environmental justice, and artists' rights.
Jah’Mila: A Juno-nominated reggae singer from Kingston, Jamaica, now based in Nova Scotia, Jah’Mila has become a beacon for Jamaican music in the Maritimes. She has toured with reggae legends like The Wailers and Black Uhuru, and her debut album "Roots Girl" has earned her critical acclaim, blending reggae with jazz and soul. Through her music, she advocates for diversity, inclusion, and the arts.
